This is the dramatic moment an 85-year-old woman was saved after she fell into a 60-foot well in southern India.<br /><br />Tangevva Gadyala had gone to cut grass for her cows in Kalakavatagi Village near Vijayapura on May 22 when she slipped and fell into an open well. <br /><br />Some farmers saw her falling and rushed to save her.<br /><br />They immediately lowered a cot made of bamboo, which was nearby and Gadyala managed to get on to it.<br /><br />The rescuers then hauled her to safety.<br /><br />Eyewitnesses said that she was saved from certain death by the factt that the well had eight-feet of water in it.
