한국군 대장 주도 전작권 행사 가능여부 첫 검증<br /><br />South Korea and the U.S. are seeking to have a four-star Korean general lead joint military exercises to test Seoul's ability to take back wartime operational control from Washington.<br />The ROK-U.S. Combined Forces Command and South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said Tuesday... Seoul and Washington are planning to have the combined command-post exercise... and its assessment of initial operational capability in August.<br />The allies are aiming to have the envisioned transfer take place as early as 2022. <br />
