President Moon Jae-in says lawmakers need to swiftly pass the government's supplementary budget bill and put those funds to work to breathe life into the economy.<br />The president was briefed today on the economy... by finance minister Hong Nam-ki.<br />In that meeting, the president stressed the seriousness of getting the budget bill deliberated on, which it's been waiting on for over a month.<br />That meeting also covered investment and innovation in the manufacturing industry.<br /> The president emphasized that it's important to revive corporate investment sentiment, and told the finance minister to improve communication with that sector.<br />The president also ordered his economic team to take into account economic circumstances at home and abroad in their policies for the latter half of the year. <br />
