North Korea's mortality rate due to air pollution has dropped compared to a couple of years ago, but is still very high.<br />The World Health Organization says North Korea's mortality rate due to poor air quality currently stands at over 207 out of 100-thousand people per year.<br />That's a rate ten times higher than South Korea.<br />China was 113... and Mongolia 156 per 100-thousand people.<br />The WHO says poor air quality can cause stroke, heart disease, lung cancer as well as a number of other serious ailments.<br />North Korea's tuberculosis rate is the sixth highest in the world. <br />
