A science teacher used tiny flasks and pots to mix calcium carbide with six different ingredients that resulted in underwater fireworks and a rocket in Gosford, Australia.<br /><br />The teacher created the mini experiment on May 29, and was "focused on calcium carbide, which produces acetylene gas upon contact with water" to create some cool displays of science.
