Jaimie Shaffer was driving home with a colleague in Texas when they spotted a huge tornado from across a nearby lake yesterday (May 29).<br /><br />They decided to get away from the area as quickly as possible, as they watched it cross directly over the main road and head in their direction.<br /><br />Footage shows the moment Jaimie drives away from the area as the tornado swirls in the distance. <br /><br />Schaffer commented that she drove fast but pulled over a few times to ''warn people who couldn't see it coming behind the buildings'', who then ''ran inside immediately''.
