Man removed from bridge over London's Central Line

A man has been removed from a bridge over London Underground's busy Central Line during this evening's rush-hour (May 30).<br /><br />Video filmed by a passenger near Leyton Station on the Central Line shows emergency responders on the bridge.<br /><br />The service is experiencing significant delays.<br /><br />"People had been stuck on the trains near the station for 45 minutes until it was clear for the train to go under," filmer Chris, a Londoner, said.<br /><br />The official Twitter account for the Central Line tweeted: "The individual has now been removed from the bridge. We are making arrangements to turn the traction current back on and resume service hopefully within the next 20 minutes."<br /><br />Earlier, British Transport Police tweeted: "Officers are currently at Leyton Underground station following concerns for the welfare of a person in a precarious position."
