South Korea's industrial output rose zero-point-seven percent last month,... thanks to increased production of semiconductors and petroleum... and stronger activity in the service sector.<br />According to Statistics Korea on Friday,... industrial output has now risen for two months in a row.<br />Semiconductor production jumped six-point-five percent in April from a month earlier, while production in the service sector edged up zero-point-three percent.<br />Sales growth in machinery also led to a four-point-six percent spike in facility investment.<br />Retail sales dropped one-point-two percent because of fewer sales of home appliances and computers.<br />
