조세영 외교차관, 주일 대사에 "한국산 수산물 위장 차별 안돼"<br /><br />South Korea has urged Japan to not use its plan for tougher inspections of South Korean marine products as retaliation for Seoul's ban on certain Japanese seafood products.<br />Tokyo is strengthening the inspections starting tomorrow, citing risks of food poisoning during the summer.<br />Seoul's Vice Foreign Minister Cho Sei-young requested that the move should not be used as what he called a disguised discriminatory measure against South Korean seafood.<br />South Korea had banned certain Japanese marine products following the 2011 Fukushima nuclear meltdown. <br />
