New footage has emerged of a cruise ship crashing into a tourist boat and a dock in Venice on Sunday (June 2).<br /><br />Footage shows the moment a vessel smashing into a boat moored at a wharf in San Basilio-Zattere, sending tourists running.<br /><br />At least five people including one American, one New Zealander and two Australians were injured in the accident.<br /><br />Resident and filmer Matteo Ravagnan told Newsflare : ''Cruise ships are a big problem for us. They are too big to operate close to the harbors and Venetians have called on the authorities to ban them from our canal.''<br /><br />''I've always thought that something like this [the accident] would happen sooner or later.''
