A group of scuba divers ventured to Royal City to dive in a disused missile silo from the Cold War last month (May 18).<br /><br />The aqua explorers can be seen entering the compound which would have once been on high alert during the historical tensions of the Cold War.<br /><br />The filmer explains: "A team of eight divers, dive through Cold War history.<br /><br />"In 1964, the Titan Missile Silo in Royal City, Washington was left abandoned and flooded after the program became obsolete, only two years after its creation. <br /><br />"A lucky thing for those who enjoy scuba diving in deep, dark, underground places."
