Five bodies were spotted on a mountain in the Indian Himalayas on Monday,... during an aerial search for eight missing climbers,... feared to have been swept away in an avalanche.<br />According to Indian officials,... an air force helicopter spotted the bodies as they flew over the area where the group went missing.<br />Of the climbers,... four were from the UK,... two from the U.S.,... and one each from Australia and India.<br />They were reported missing by their colleagues last Friday,... after failing to return to base camp.<br />The climbers were attempting to scale an unnamed and previously unclimbed peak,... over 64-hundred meters high,... near Nanda Devi,... when they were hit by an avalanche.<br />Search teams are still attempting to locate the other three missing climbers.<br />
