At least 30 protesters have been killed while hundreds injured in Sudan as its security forces launched a massive crackdown against a sit-in protest.<br />Citing multiple eyewitnesses,... CNN reports that the security forces - the police and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces - opened fire at the ant-military government protesters on Monday who had congregated outside the Defense Ministry building in the country's capital Khartoum.<br />The Sudanese Professionals Association,... which organized the protests,... tweeted that live bullets and massive violence are being used against innocent civilians.<br />This is the worst bloodshed in Sudan since April when the nation's former leader Omar al-Bashir was arrested and forced out of power in a military coup opposing his three-decade-long iron-fist rule of Sudan.<br /><br />
