"IOC, '올림픽 남북 단일팀 의지 있다' 北입장에 환영 표시"<br /><br />The International Olympic Committee has welcomed North Korea's willingness to field joint Korean teams for the 2020 Tokyo Summer Games. <br />According to Radio Free Asia on Tuesday,… an IOC spokesperson said the organization is delighted to see sports help drive the momentum for peace between the two Koreas. <br />Pyeongyang's Vice Sports Minister Won Kil-u had said an inter-Korean team would be in line with what the people of the two Koreas want and also conforms to the spirit of the Olympics. <br />The two Koreas plan to field joint teams in basketball, field hockey, rowing and judo. <br />
