Nickelodeon Greenlights<br />CG-Animated SpongeBob <br />Prequel Series A new CG-animated series titled ‘Kamp Koral’<br />has been slated for production by Nickelodeon. The 13 episode series is a prequel to the<br />classic SpongeBob show, which first<br />aired on the network in 1999. It will feature a 10-year-old SpongeBob and his friends<br />as they spend the summer at a sleep-away camp. Ramsey Naito, Nickelodeon’s EVP of animation<br />production and development, believes the series will<br />expand on the “incredible universe” of SpongeBob. Ramsey Naito,<br />via ‘Variety’ Marc Ceccarelli and Vincent Waller are<br />executive producers on the project, with<br />production scheduled to begin in June 2019.
