Beverly Hills to Ban <br />Nearly All Tobacco Sales The new law means outlets like <br />gas stations and convenience stores <br />won't be able to sell cigarettes <br />or cigars. Pharmacies and grocers are <br />prohibited from selling <br />them as well. Only hotels and a few select cigar lounges <br />within the city's borders will be exempt. The law, which also includes <br />e-cigarettes, starts in 2021. The ban is the first of its kind within the United States.
