911 Calls From Jussie Smollett<br />Case Released to Public Two 911 calls made on the night of Jussie<br />Smollett’s alleged attack were released on June 5. The ‘New York Post’ obtained the recordings<br />through a Freedom of Information Act request. The caller, identified by the ‘New York Post’ as Smollett’s<br />creative manager, Frank Gatson, called authorities on<br />Smollett’s behalf around 2am on January 29. Frank Gatson, <br />via ‘New York Post’ Authorities then asked Gatson if Smollett<br />required medical attention, to which he replied<br />that he thought Smollett was just “startled.” Frank Gatson,<br />via ‘New York Post’ The 911 dispatcher then alerted<br />the police and ended the call. The second call occurred minutes later when Gatson<br />called again and asked if the police were on their way.
