China's Huawei has signed a deal with Russian telecoms firm MTS to develop 5G technology in Russia.<br />It should provide some much relief to the Chinese tech giant,... which has been under intense international scrutiny in recent months.<br />The deal was agreed as Chinese President Xi Jinping continues his three-day state visit to Russia.<br />Huawei and MTS said in statement that they will begin developing next-generation 5G networks in Russia over the next twelve months.<br />Huawei has been in turmoil since May,... when the Trump administration banned U.S. companies from selling high-tech equipment to the Chinese company over suspicions it was spying for Beijing.<br />
