U.S. President Donald Trump will meet his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping... at a Group of 20 summit taking place in Tokyo later this month,... with a view of resuming talks to overcome trade hostilities.<br />That's according to U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on Saturday.<br />He did not provide any futher details, but earlier said... the face-to-face meeting could see "main progress"... in settling the dispute between the world's two biggest economies.<br />Negotiations broke down in early May,... with both sides launching a series of trade threats and tariffs thereafter.<br />Mnuchin will also meet with People's Bank of China Governor Yi Gang on Sunday,... on the sidelines of the G20 meeting.<br />He has, however, downplayed the significance of the meeting,... saying it won't be a negotiating session. <br />
