A remarkable video has emerged from Thailand of a plucky little fish successfully crossing a road.<br /><br />The unusual video shows the tiny perch taking advantage of rain today (June 9) in a rural area close to Bangkok to flip up onto the tarmac.<br /><br />The intrepid creature then crawls across the road all the way to the other side where there is another pond.<br /><br />"This is a fish called a common climbing perch. He had a long struggle before he could get up onto the road, but he was very persistent and never gave up until he reached his goal," said the filmer.<br /><br />"I hope that he found his way ok to the nearby pond and that he will be happy there."<br /><br />Climbing perch, also called walking fish, are noted for its ability to live and walk about on land.
