Spotify to Add a 'Mute' Feature In the upper right-hand section of Spotify's main menu users can activate the feature by clicking, <br />"Don’t play this artist." The selected artist's songs will then vanish from libraries and playlists. Songs that the "muted" musician <br />is featured on will not disappear. As of now, blocking an artist on Spotify can only <br />be done on a mobile device.
