Thousands of people took to the streets in Toronto yesterday (June 9) to show their opposition to Hong Kong's extradition bill.<br /><br />The controversial government legislation would allow people to be extradited to mainland China to face charges.<br /><br />Footage shows dozens of demonstrators holding yellow umbrellas as they march through the Canadian city.<br /><br />The march coincided with a massive protest in Hong Kong which saw at least one million people taking part, organisers said.
