How to Download and Install Skype on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?<br /><br />Step 1: Open your Firefox browser, and then go to the link below:-<br /><br /> https://www.skype.com/en/get-skype/<br /><br />Step 2: Download the Skype Deb package.<br /><br />Step 3: Go to the desktop, right click on it. After that, click on 'open terminal'.<br /><br />Step 4: Go to the folder where you downloaded the skype deb package.<br /><br />Step 5: Type the commnd beow to install it:-<br /><br /> sudo dpkg -i name_of_file.deb<br /><br /> After that, hit enter. Provide password, if it asks, and then hit enter.<br /><br />Step 6: After installation, close the terminal. Click on 'show applications' at the bottom left.
