FCC Permits US Phone Carriers <br />to Halt Robocalls Following a recent vote, the agency is letting <br />wireless companies shield customers from the unwanted calls. Recent reports show that on a monthly basis, <br />five billion robocalls are being made in the U.S. The tech is similar to how spam is detected by email providers on the internet.
