Microsoft Announces Next-Generation Xbox: Project Scarlett Scheduled to launch in 2020, Project<br />Scarlett's processor will be four times<br />more powerful than the Xbox One X. It will not only support 8k gaming and<br />frame rates of up to 120fps, it will also have<br />ray-tracing and variable refresh rate support. Project Scarlett will also use a SSD as virtual<br />RAM, meaning a 400% boost in performance<br />over the current generation of SSD. Phil Spencer, executive vice president of gaming,<br />hinted at the inclusion of new internet capabilities.
