One of the biggest events on the global tech calendar kicked off in China on Tuesday, with startups, entrepreneurs and global brands showing off their latest gadgets and innovations.<br />CES Asia 2019 or the Consumer Electronics Show focused on the Asia-Pacific market is taking place in Shanghai through Thursday.<br />About six hundred firms are taking part, mostly from China,... showing the latest 5G and AI technologies.<br />Drawing special attention is Chinese telecommunications firm Huawei, which has been blacklisted by the Trump administration from doing business with U.S. firms over spying concerns.<br />A senior Huawei official is set to deliver a keynote speech at the event.<br />South Korean corporate giants Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor will also showcase their products.<br />
