한국 조선업 5월 수주량 1위 회복…LNG운반선 발주 지속<br /><br />In May, South Korea leads the pack in terms of new shipbuilding orders, overtaking China for the first time in three months.<br />According to Clarksons Research, local shipbuilders won 16 new orders including some LNG Carriers.<br />These added up to 640-thousand compensated gross tons, accounting for 60 percent of total new orders worldwide.<br />Beijing was runner-up with 270-thousand CGTs, followed by Tokyo's 60-thousand. <br />China still has the most orders in total for the first five months of the year with over four million CGTs, followed by Seoul's 2-point-8 million. <br />
