Prince William and Kate have tried their hand at sheep shearing as they visited Cumbria to celebrate the resilience of local communities. <br />They were welcomed at Deepdale Hall Farm in Patterdale, where they sat down for tea and cake with local farmers. <br />Her Royal Highnesses also helped out with other activities on the farm, such as sheep herding and dry stone walling.
