Time-lapse footage shows protesters gathering in the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong today (June 12).<br /><br />Hong Kong residents are protesting a proposed extradition bill that would see suspected criminals to be charged on mainland China.<br /><br />It was reported over one million protesters gathered on Sunday to show solidarity despite police only recording 240,000.<br /><br />Police have also been discharging tear gas and rubber bullets at protestors causing outrage among the people.
