A group of teenagers in West Sumatra, Indonesia attempt to play a soccer match in the thick mud of a rice field.<br /><br />Filmed in the Sangir area, West Sumatra province on June 13, several teenagers are seen taking part in a soccer match where the pitch is covered in thick mud.<br /><br />This league of mud soccer aims to increase the friendship between villages after the Eid-ul-Fitr festivities and to welcome the first day of Shawwal on Islamic calenders.<br /><br />Mud soccer is also used to fill spare time for a number of teenagers who are on college vacations.
