Patriots File Tampering Charges on Texans Over Nick Caserio The league will open an investigation <br />against the Houston Texans. The Texans are reportedly interested in hiring <br />Nick Caserio as their general manager. Caserio has been the New England Patriots <br />director of player personnel since 2008. Houston fired their general manager, Brian Gaine, on June 7, one day after New England's <br />Super Bowl ring ceremony. The Texans EVP of team development, <br />Jack Easterby, attended the ceremony <br />along with Caserio. Easterby, the former Patriots development <br />director, was hired this offseason by the Texans. If Houston still wants to hire Caserio, <br />one potential solution could be to <br />surrender a draft pick to the Patriots.
