This is the dramatic moment a lorry rammed into an oncoming truck after losing control.<br /><br />Lorry driver Pairoj Sawangmee, 43, was driving his construction site truck when an articulated lorry approached in Chachoengsao, central Thailand on Tuesday (June 11). <br /><br />Dashcam footage shows the oncoming lorry sliding sideways before it over-steered to the right and smashed into Pairoj’s truck. <br /><br />White lorry driver Woraphas Deirarum, 26, managed to escape injury but Pairoj was trapped inside the cabin after the crash in the Ban Pho district around 1 pm. <br /><br />Officials from Chachoengsao emergency rescue arrived at the scene and brought the injured driver to the hospital while police from the Ban Pho police station began the investigation. <br /><br />Investigation officer Lieutenant Colonel Boonshow Thongklom said: “We’ll bring him for questioning after he is recovered from the hospital. <br /><br />“We’ll look for further evidence for the cause of the accident and he will be detained at the police station for legal proceedings.”
