A 9-foot-long crocodile held up multiple lanes of traffic while crossing a road in Tampico, Mexico, on June 11.<br /><br />Police and firemen arrived and caught the reptile after it scared residents. It was then released into the Laguna del Carpintero lake on the opposite side of the road. <br /><br />One resident told local media: "We saw the crocodile since it left the lagoon. Nothing happened then he crossed the street stopping the motorists from driver, it was huge.’’
