Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail should hand over the post to her husband Anwar Ibrahim, said Selangor Bersatu treasurer Mohd Shaid Rosli.<br /><br />Mohd Shaid, who is also Jeram assemblyperson, said that this was a necessary step in the transition plan which involves the handover of the prime minister's post from Dr Mahathir Mohamad to Anwar.<br /><br />"It is unlikely that Anwar can be appointed as prime minister while the deputy prime minister's position is held by his wife Wan Azizah," said Mohd Shaid in a statement today.
