A man from a village in Gujarat saved a calf by attacking a lion with a stick.<br /><br />The incident happened on June 18 when the lion entered Mota Barman village in Amreli district, searching for food.<br /><br />Footage shows a herd of cows running away from the raging lion which pounces on a calf.<br /><br />On spotting the lion attacking the calf, the villager Devusinh Vadher rushes to pick a stick and violently throws it at the lion.<br /><br />The feline then drops the calf and runs away from the property.<br /><br />Devusinh Vadher said that the area has lions roaming freely and that he is used to big cats attacking their cattle. ''Living with big cats around has become a way of life,” he says.
