YouTube is reportedly mulling the possibility of moving all children's videos to the standalone YouTube Kids application that was developed in 2015.<br />The Wall Street Journal reports YouTube executives are discussing such measures to better protecting young viewers from objectionable videos.<br />The report explained it would be a risky move as children's videos are among the most popular on the platform,... bringing in millions of dollars in ad revenue.<br />Changes were proposed following complaints from consumer groups as well as a recent federal investigation by the Federal Trade Commission for YouTube's handling of videos aimed at young viewers.<br />
