'Jeopardy!' Champion Makes Donation<br />to Cancer Walk in Honor of Alex Trebek James Holzhauer, who won $2,462,216 on<br />'Jeopardy!,' recently made a donation to a<br />pancreatic cancer research walk. The walk is hosted by the Lustgarten Foundation<br />and will take place in Holzhauer’s hometown,<br />Naperville, Illinois, on July 14. Holzhauer donated $1,109.14 to the walk in<br />honor of “Alex Trebek and all the other survivors.” The specific amount is a reference to<br />his daughter’s birthday, November 9, 2014. Trebek, the long-time host of 'Jeopardy!,'<br />first announced his battle with stage four<br />pancreatic cancer in March. In May, Trebek revealed he was “near remission” because<br />some of his tumors had shrunk by more than 50 percent.
