'여행 칼럼니스트' 주영욱 씨 필리핀에서 피살<br /><br />A well-known South Korean travel writer was found dead in the Philippines on Sunday.<br />The Korean police announced today that Joo Young-wook was found dead beside a road in the northern Philippine city of Antipolo.<br />Joo's hands had been tied behind him and he had been shot in the forehead.<br />His identity was confirmed by local police on Tuesday when a hotel key was discovered during his autopsy.<br />Korean police and a team from the Korean Embassy in Manila have been sent to investigate the killing.<br />Joo, who worked as a travel columnist and ran a travel agency arrived in Manila last Friday to develop more travel packages.<br />He is the 54th Korean killed in the Philippines since 2012.<br />Korean police have advised tourists to the Philippines to keep their belongings safe and to avoid unfamiliar places at night. <br />
