유엔, 올해 대북 인도 지원 22건 제재 면제<br /><br />The UNSC exempted a total of 22 humanitarian projects provided by international agencies from its sanctions placed on North Korea this year.<br />According to the webpage of the 1718 Sanctions Committee... a total of 18 agencies have been exempted this year... following a review upon the agencies' submitted requests.<br />Most of them are set to provide medical, food and water supplies... estimated to be worth a combined seven-million U.S. dollars.<br />The most recently exempted project by the committee was on last Tuesday,... namely UNICEF's shipment program to combat tuberculosis and malaria.<br />The exemption period for these agencies... in which they can transfer their supplies... extends to six months upon approval. <br />
