President Moon Jae-in is inviting Korean War veterans for lunch at the top office today,... a day before South Korea marks the 69th anniversary of the outbreak of the conflict.<br /> The presidential office says the invitation comes as the top office wants to treat the vets with honor and respect. <br />President Moon is expected to relay his appreciation for their sacrifice and devotion to peace.<br />Some 180 veterans, the defense and patriots and veterans affairs ministers as well as the commander of U.S. Forces Korea will join the luncheon. <br />
