Amazon Drops Teaser for <br />Meek Mill's 'Free Meek' The trailer for the upcoming docuseries <br />was revealed during the 2019 BET Awards. 'Free Meek,' which premieres on August 9, <br />will consist of five episodes. It was executive produced by Jay-Z and will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime. 'Free Meek' focuses on the rapper's <br />legal battles and takes a closer look <br />into America's criminal justice system. Meek was given up to a four-year jail sentence in late 2017 for a probation violation. He has since been released on bail <br />and had his jail sentence dismissed by the <br />Pennsylvania Supreme Court last year. The court has also recently given Mill a <br />new hearing as he appeals the 2008 charges.
