UAE 바라카원전 정비사업 5년만 계약…일괄•단독수주는 못해<br /><br />A South Korean consortium has secured a five-year maintenance deal for a nulcear plant in the United Arab Emirates. <br /> Seoul's trade ministry says a consortium of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and KEPCO KPS won the bid to maintain the UAE's plant in Barakah.<br />Barakah is the site where KEPCO has been building four reactors.<br />The contract also calls for the consortium to provide experienced manpower to Nawah Energy Company, the plant's operator.<br />The maintenance deal, however, at 5 years, was shorter than the 15 years the South Korean companies had hoped for. <br />
