Latheefa Beebi Koya took her oath of office as Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) before the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at Istana Negara on Tuesday.<br /><br />Latheefa, 46, the first female chief commissioner of the MACC, replaces Datuk Seri Shukri Abdullah, who opted for early retirement before his contract ended in 2020.
