An astrophotographer from Jena, Thuringia demonstrated the fiery power of a telescope when it harnesses the heat from direct sunlight on Monday (June 24).<br /><br />Footage shows numerous objects and materials being placed under the lens of the telescope resulting in the concentrated light creating intense heat causing burning in a matter of seconds.<br /><br />The filmer said: "I wanted to test how powerful a sun-directed telescope is, that's what came out of it."
