Actor Song Joong-ki has filed for divorce from actress Song Hye-kyo.<br />Song Joong-ki's lawyer said on Thursday his law firm has filed for divorce on behalf of the actor at the Seoul Family Court.<br />In the statement, Song apologized for the unfortunate news and hoped the divorce process would go smoothly.<br />He added it's difficult to share the details of his personal life but promised to repay fans' support through great productions in the future.<br />Song Hye-kyo also released a statement saying that they made the decision because of a difference in personality.<br />The star couple married in October 2017 after starring together in the hit TV drama "Descendants of the Sun" the year before.<br />
