Celtics Are Favorites to Sign Kemba Walker Walker will be offered a four-year, <br />$141 million contract from the <br />Boston Celtics, according to ESPN. The Celtics have targeted the Charlotte Hornets <br />point guard as their No. 1 free agent. Walker would be a replacement for Kyrie Irving, <br />who is expected to leave Boston in free agency. The three-time All Star averaged 25.8 points a game this past season. Walker would join a Celtics lineup <br />that includes Jayson Tatum, <br />Gordon Hayward and Jaylen Brown. Without injured stars Irving and Hayward, Boston <br />made the Eastern Conference finals in 2018. The Celtics lost in 5 games to the Milwaukee <br />Bucks in the 2019 Eastern Conference semifinals.
