Ford Motor is closing a number of facilities in Europe by the end of 2020,... a move which will lead to 12-thousand workers losing their jobs.<br />The American auto giant says it will close six assembly and component manufacturing plants across Europe.<br />In a press release Thursday,.. the company says around 2-thousand jobs to be cut will be salaried positions,... adding it's part of the 7-thousand that Ford was reducing globally.<br />It added the closures are part of Ford's plans to improve manufacturing efficiency.<br />
