South Korea's three main parties have reached a tentative deal to hold a plenary session today to vote on extending the terms of special parliamentary committees that expire this month.<br />The decision was reached during a meeting between National Assembly Speaker Moon Hee-sang and the floor leaders of the three main parties in a bid to end the over 80-day standstill at parliament.<br />The parties will meet again this afternoon to fine-tune the details of their agreement.<br />The latest development comes after the main opposition Liberty Korea Party pulled out of a normalization deal reached between rival parties earlier this week,... after failing to get endorsement from all its lawmakers.<br />The ruling Democratic Party and minor opposition parties, however, were seeking to push ahead with the agendas agreed under the deal, regardless.<br />
