According to the company, <br />Beats 1 also has "tens of <br />millions of users." Apple Music has <br />shown steady growth <br />since its launch in 2015. The subscription service <br />hit 40 million paid users <br />just over a year ago. It is expected to continue <br />its increase with the rollout <br />of the new macOS Catalina. In Catalina, iTunes will be <br />discontinued and the Music, TV and <br />Podcast apps will all be separated. Spotify continues to lead <br />the music subscription <br />services with 100 million <br />premium subscribers.
