Charlottesville Neo-Nazi <br />Sentenced to Life for <br />Deadly Car Attack James Alex Fields Jr. drove his car <br />into a crowd of counterprotestors <br />during the 2017 "Unite the Right" <br />rally in Charlottesville, VA. Dozens of people were <br />injured in the attack, and <br />one person, 32 year-old <br />Heather Heyer, was killed. Charged with dozens of <br />federal hate crimes, Fields <br />will spend the rest of <br />his life behind bars. Fields reportedly has <br />a history of anti-Semitic <br />and racist behavior. According to prosecutors, <br />he has shown no remorse <br />for what has been labeled <br />a terror attack. Fields also faces <br />state charges that <br />include first-degree murder. The 22-year-old <br />will be sentenced for <br />those charges on July 15.
